John Deere Gator XUV/RSX Hitch Skid with Recovery Point Short by AJK Offroad

Our Hitch Skid with Recovery Point is the solution for anyone dealing with limited ground clearance at the rear of their truck or SUV. This skid helps you slide across inclines without dragging your factory hitch on rocks, trees, or other trail obstacles. It works great on Toyota Tacomas as well as most other vehicles equipped with a 2" receiver hitch. This design is one size fits most, though some vehicles may require using different mounting holes or trimming plastic for a proper fit.

We manufacture each Hitch Skid from 2"x2" square tube with a 1/4" wall thickness. A 10"x8.5" 1/4" steel plate is fully MIG welded to the square tube, and our recovery clevis is welded directly to the plate and tube for maximum strength. The 2"x2" square tube provides three different mounting pin holes, allowing flexibility for various applications.

Every Hitch Skid comes standard with a recovery point. The clevis mount is .875" thick with a 1" bore, designed to fit a standard 3/4" shackle. This version is our shorter model, built to accommodate vehicles with a spare tire. We also offer a standard version featuring a 10"x10" plate and four mounting holes.
