Gator Snow Plow Add-Ons and Winch Notes
Winch sizing for plowing alone sits around 2,500 to 3,500 lb, and 6,000 lb suits owners who also rely on the winch for pulling. Mounting is the tricky part on an 835 or 865. The KFI winch mount built for these models accepts only wide-pattern winches with a 3.00 by 6.60-inch bolt layout, and the Eagle listing offers no 835 winch mount at all. Lifted Gator XUV Plow Setup
A lift raises the mount point, which usually throws the blade off level. KFI’s listing offers leveling kits for everything from a -1-inch drop to a +6-inch lift, each sized to a ground-clearance range. Denali takes a different route, with lift push tubes rated for 2 or 4 inches.
Tracked Gator XUV Plow Setup

Gator XUV Plow Mounts by Model and Year
The model year matters on an 835. Eagle lists one mount for 2018 to 2022 machines and a separate one for 2023 and newer, which it shares with the 845. Denali has no 835 or 865 mount of its own, so its kit connects through a front 2-inch receiver. KFI requires the stock front bumper, and Kolpin’s mount adds a 2-inch receiver of its own.
